News Release
Milwaukie Police Investigating Armed Robbery - 01/17/18

Case #18-0204

On 01-17-18, around 1:00 a.m., an unknown male subject, armed with a handgun and wearing a ski mask, attempted to rob Dotty's, 10843 SE Oak Street in Milwaukie.

The male suspect walked into Dotty's and confronted the employee by pointing a revolver-type handgun at them. The employee refused to give the suspect any money and chased the suspect outside. The suspect fired one-round at the employee, striking the sidewalk, not the employee.

The suspect left in an unknown direction, without any money. Police arrived shortly after but were not able to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as being a white male, around 6'0" and around 200-pounds.

The investigation is on-going. Anyone that may have information is asked to call Milwaukie Police 503-786-7500.
