Metro West Ambulance Services, Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Tom BeLusko as Vice President of Operations for our Washington County and Clackamas Operations. Joining the Metro West Ambulance Family of Companies this summer, Tom brings over 28 years of experience in operational management, human resources, strategic planning, finance, insurance and risk management experience coupled with client expertise in paratransit and Emergency Medical Service Industries. As a local leader right here in Washington County, Tom has served on various boards, councils, clubs and organizations. As Vice President of Operations, Tom BeLusko oversees our operations for our emergency and non-emergency medical services including our 9-1-1 ambulance services for Washington County; our Mobile Intensive Care Unit which provides ICU level critical care ground ambulance transport; our non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair services that serve the Portland Metro Region and the Pacific Northwest; our special events medical services that cover large venues in our area such as the Moda Center, Veterans Coliseum and Portland International Raceway along with Metro MedCall, our on-site occupational medicine.
As EMS services continue to expand into non-traditional arenas, we are pleased to have Paul Bollinger, MPH, join our company as our Mobile Integrated Health Manager. With over 30 years’ experience in emergency medical services and health system development at the local, national and international levels, Paul has served previously with Medical Teams International as a senior technical adviser supporting their emergency response initiatives globally. Paul has supported the development of mobile integrated health programming at the local, state, and national levels since 2015 during his tenure with Health Share of Oregon. Most recently Paul was the Operations Director at the Oregon Health & Sciences University supporting programs within OHSU Global SE Asia. Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) is a patient-centered, innovated delivery model offering on-demand, needs based care and preventive services, delivered in the patient’s home. Paul is overseeing our various programs in which our Mobile Integrated Health Paramedics make house calls providing post-hospital care; provide advanced care for patients in a virtual hospital working with physician lead medical teams; and make urgent care home calls. As one of the largest Mobile Integrated Health programs in the country, Paul is focusing on expanding this unique health care model.
“Both are outstanding additions to our team and they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our field”, said JD Fuiten, Metro West Ambulance Services Inc. President.
