Incident Type: Gunshot heard   

Location: 2100 Block of Poplar Drive

Case: 20-5154

On 032419 at approximately 1549 hours, Medford Police Patrol Officers were in the area of 2103 Poplar Drive when they heard what they believed to be a single gunshot. Shortly after this time ECSO (911) received calls regarding a gunshot being heard in the area.

Multiple Medford Police units responded to the area. Officers were able to narrow down the search to an apartment within the complex. As a result of the investigation one adult male suspect has been taken into custody on weapons related charges.

Officers on scene were not able to locate the impact area of the suspected single gunshot that was fired. There are no known injuries associated with this incident.
