MPD Case #: 18-3002 (Hiro Sushi) and 18-3038 (The Country Store)

On February 12, 2018 Medford Police detectives arrested 43 year old Mark Dahlin, in connection with two recent Medford area Burglaries.

On February 11, 2018, Medford Police officers responded to Hiro Sushi, in the 3600 Block of Aviation Way, for a burglary report. Video surveillance captured the suspect breaking the front glass door and quickly taking an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before exiting. Video captures the suspect fleeing, in a what appears to be a small SUV.

On February 12, 2018, Medford Police officers responded to The Country Store in the 1600 Block of Kings Highway for another burglary report. Video surveillance captures two suspects enter the store. They immediately go to the cash registers and leave with an undisclosed amount of cash along with several cartons of cigarettes.

During the afternoon of February 12th, detectives located a Honda Passport driven by Dahlin. He was contacted and arrested for his involvement in the Hiro Sushi burglary. Detectives later served a search warrant on Dahlin's vehicle and additional evidence was located that lead detectives to add charges related to The Country Store burglary.

Detectives are continuing to investigate additional burglaries in the Medford area, and it is likely that Dahlin may have been involved in several of these crimes as well.

Dahlin has been charged with two counts of Burglary 2, two counts of Theft 2, and Criminal Mischief 1. His bail has been set at $150,000.
