Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office are asking for community help locating an elderly Jefferson man after he did not return home on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. George Black, 80, is approximately 5’8” tall and 180 lbs and was wearing a green t-shirt, black leather jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots. Mr. Black was last seen driving his white 2009 Toyota Sienna van with Oregon license plate 060JUR. Family members report Mr. Black has been diagnosed with dementia.
Investigators believe he may possibly be in the Tacoma area. A request has been made to the Washington State Patrol to issue a Silver Alert in Washington.
Anyone with information about Mr. Black’s location should contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 503-588-5032. If spotted, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
