Two Men Arrested After Early Morning Robbery (Scotts Mills) (Photo) - 02/11/19

At approximately 9:05 a.m., deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Scotts Mills Market on a reported robbery.  It was reported that two men forcibly took cash from the clerk and fled in a stolen Subaru toward Clackamas County.

Soon after the robbery the vehicle was located by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office along S Wildcat Rd.  Both men fled from the vehicle into a nearby wooded area.  After several hours of searching both men were located and arrested without incident.  Riley Baney, age 20, of Keizer and James Hunsberger, age 21, of Scotts Mills have both been taken to the Marion County Jail.

The men were booked for the crimes of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Trespass II, Theft III, Criminal Mischief III and Robbery II.  The Marion County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank our partners at the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and the Molalla Police Department for their assistance.
