Arrest Made In Traci Spurgeon Assault Investigation (Photo) -05/29/19
The McMinnville Police Department would like to announce that an arrest has been made in the vicious assault upon Traci Spurgeon of McMinnville that occurred on May 12, 2018. Jermaine Love Streeter, age 30 of Clackamas, was in a relationship with the victim at that time. On May 27, 2019, Streeter was contacted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection personnel at the Canadian border and taken into custody for an arrest warrant on this case. Streeter is currently lodged at the Whatcom County Jail in Bellingham, Washington. Streeter is awaiting extradition and once the extradition process is complete, he will be transported to Yamhill County for the following charges:
- Attempted Murder constituting Domestic Violence
- Assault in the 1st Degree (x2) constituting Domestic Violence
- Unlawful Use of a Weapon
- Theft in the 2nd Degree
