McMinnville Man Arrested On Sex Abuse Charges (Photo)

In October 2017, the McMinnville Police Department Detective Section began investigating a case involving an adult male subject named Vaughn Leslie Monagon (41) of McMinnville. Over the course of several months, information was obtained that indicated Mr. Monagon had engaged in the sexual abuse of a child a number of years ago. Mr. Monagon was arrested on January 19th, 2018 on 4 counts of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. The case has been turned over to the Yamhill County District Attorney's Office for prosecution, all further media inquiries will go through their office. The McMinnville Police Department believes there could be additional victims and they are asking anyone with relevant information about Mr. Monagon to please call the McMinnville Police Department Tipline at 503-434-2337.
