The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to find possible crime victims of 31-year-old Christopher Denton.
Denton is currently being held on federal gun and drug-related charges. During an investigation into Denton’s alleged crimes, MCSO Special Investigations Unit (SIU) deputies learned that Denton had been driving a 2011 Dodge Charger, that is thought to be a decommissioned police vehicle. SIU deputies believe that he was using the vehicle to impersonate police officers.
Additionally, evidence collected during the investigation shows that Denton allegedly had inappropriate and unwanted contact with a woman dating back to 2018. Anyone who may have been exploited by Denton is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
Denton has ties to Gresham, outer Southeast Portland and North Portland. Denton’s most recent booking photo is attached for identification purposes.
If you or someone you know has been victimized by Denton, please contact the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Tip Line at 503-988-0560 and please reference case #22-20797. You can also fill out a tip form through Crime Stoppers of Oregon.
The release of the booking photo is for law enforcement purposes and is in accordance with MCSO Policy 1225 and Oregon House Bill 3273.
