Linn County Sheriff Jim Yon reports today at 05:54 a.m., his deputies responded to investigate an accidental death on Folsom Road outside of Albany.   Russell Leroy Davidson, 59, of Albany was reported missing earlier this morning at approximately 1:07 a.m., when he did not return from taking a ride on his motorcycle.  Deputies searched the area but did not locate him.  At 5:54 a.m., Davidson’s adult son found him deceased on a neighboring property.  Davidson had hit a cable that was across a path in the middle of a neighboring field and suffered fatal injuries.  Davidson’s family reported he frequently rode his motorcycle in the area at night.  He was not wearing a helmet.
