Linn County Sheriff Bruce Riley reports that yesterday his deputies arrested 22-year old Steven Mitchell Mercier from Junction City, Oregon.

Deputies responded to several calls of vehicles being broken into in the Halsey and Harrisburg area earlier in the day. Items were stolen from victims vehicles and it was reported to have occurred sometime during the early morning and daytime hours.

Deputies were able to obtain video footage from the Halsey Select Market where one of crimes occurred.
