LCPD Mourns Loss Of Former Sgt/SRO Oscar Escalante (Photo) -09/08/23

Members of the Lincoln City Police Department are deeply saddened by the passing of retired Sergeant/SRO Oscar Escalante. He served our community with great integrity and dedication during his 22 years with our agency, and the positive impact he made as an SRO spanned over multiple generations of students during his 17-year tenure in that position.

Lincoln City and Lincoln County were very fortunate to have had Oscar protecting and serving the community for so many years. He was a well-respected, positive influence to many, and as a department and community, we mourn the passing of a truly admirable man.
