Sex Crime - 02/28/18

On Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at about 1154 hours, Lebanon Police detectives took Johne Michael Griffith (DOB: 12-13-1995) into custody without incident for Sex Abuse II and Sex Abuse III. Griffith was later transported to Linn County Jail. In the initial investigation, responding officers learned of inappropriate contact between a then 21-year-old Johne Griffith and a 16-year-old female known to him. (the contact was alleged to have taken place in October of 2017). The Lebanon Police Department has had previous contact with Johne for harassment, welfare checks and disorderly conduct. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective Ryan Padua at 541-258-4325
