Lebanon Fire District Battles House Fire During Extreme Heat -07/06/24

Lebanon Fire District responded to a reported structure fire at approximately 12:40 in the 1800 block of Franklin St. Initial reports stated that the house had a lot of smoke coming from it. The Battalion Chief arrived on scene and found heavy smoke coming from the roof and back of the house. The firefighters were able to stretch hose line to the back and make a quick knock down on the fire despite the hot temperatures. The district responded with 13 apparatus and 24 personnel. Lebanon Fire District was assisted by Albany Fire Department while the fire was being extinguished.
