At 06:58 AM on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, the Lebanon Fire District was dispatched to the 400 block of Cascade Drive for the report of a structure fire. The first arriving officer reported a shed fully involved in fire. Access to the shed was difficult due to multiple vehicles and items in the yard.
The fire was contained by 07:18 AM, but crews remained on the scene completing mop-up operations until 8:35 AM. Fire investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire due to the significant damage that occurred in the shed. No humans were harmed in the fire, but two pet dogs perished.
Lebanon Fire responded with 12 apparatus and 28 personnel.
