Lebanon Fire District Sends Firefighters with Linn County Task Force to Middle Fork Complex (Photo) - 08/10/21

Lebanon, OR.

As part of the Linn County Task Force, the Lebanon Fire District sent three firefighters and one Type 3 Engine to the Middle Fork Complex currently burning in Lane County this morning. Current conditions indicate the wildfire is just over 5,000 acres and 2% contained.

Wildfire season in Oregon is still extremely active, and over half a million acres have already burned in 2021.

The Lebanon Fire District would like to remind residents that the Oregon Department of Forestry has announced that current fire danger levels are extreme. LFD encourages all residents to follow ODF restrictions regardless of ODF protection, which can be found here: https://gisapps.odf.oregon.gov/firerestrictions/PFR.html.
