On 08/20/2026 at approximately 4:00 A.M, deputies responded with Lane Fire Authority to the 25000 blk of Ferguson Rd in Junction City, for a reported structure fire. First responding personnel confirmed the structure was on fire and appeared to be isolated to the back of the structure. Preliminary investigation into the cause of the fire appears to be suspicious in nature. Members of the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Oregon State Police responded, and the cause of the fire is still being actively investigated. Further information will be provided at a later time.
