9/5/24 - LCSO Case #24-4786 - Deputies Arrest Driver For Multiple Charges After DUII Crash -09/06/24

On September 5th at about 1 p.m., Lane County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash in the 300 block of River Loop 2, Eugene. A vehicle had driven through a hedge, through a yard, and into the front of an occupied residence. 

Deputies located the driver, Kevin Francis Rogers, 54, nearby at his residence. He was visibly intoxicated. Deputies arrested Rogers and lodged him at the Lane County Jail for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Reckless Driving, Recklessly Endangering, Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree, and Hit & Run - Property Damage. 

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone on the road: there is never an excuse for intoxicated driving. This crash very easily could have had a far more tragic result for someone who was in the safety of their own home.
