Motorcycle Crash (Fatal) 93000blk of River Rd. - Junction City (Photo) - 06/04/21

*UPDATE 06/04/21 / 2:32PM*

Preliminary investigation reveals that a 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle was being driven southbound on River Rd. near Hayes Ln. when it failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway.  The driver, 44-year old Chad Iseli and his passenger, 24-year old Myla Zelazny, both of Springfield, were thrown from the motorcycle and killed.  No other vehicles are believed to be associated with the crash at this time.  Alcohol use is being investigated as a factor.    

 

On 06/04/21 shortly after 6:00am the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a crashed motorcycle in the 93000blk of River Rd.  An area resident called to report that while retrieving his mail he came upon a single crashed motorcycle and its two occupants in a nearby field.  The motorcycle’s two occupants were pronounced deceased on scene.  Their names are being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin.  Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.  If anyone has information related to this crash please contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150.
