News Release
Lane County Sheriff's Office Investigating Creswell Robbery - 05/22/18

On 5/21/2018 shortly after 8:30 pm, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a robbery at the 200 block of N. Mill Street in Creswell.  Initial investigation indicates that three white males between the ages of 20 and 35 years old donned masks and forced their way into an apartment where a 54 year old female from Junction City, a 65 year old male from Creswell, and a 72 year old female from Newport were inside.  The suspects were reportedly armed with handguns and restrained the 54 year old female and 72 year old female’s hands.  The suspects threatened the victims if they did not comply, and fled the residence with an undisclosed amount of property, including a military knife collection.  The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident.

The suspects fled in an older model,  white sport utility vehicle.  Deputies are speaking with local residents who may have witnessed the incident to help provide a more detailed description of the suspects.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who has information on the identity and location of the three men responsible for last night’s robbery to contact the Lane County Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4141.
