10.15.26 - Media Release (Photo) - 10/15/26

MEDIA RELEASE
 

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is aware of a DUII arrest involving one of our employees, Deputy Corbin Collins, that occurred on the evening of Monday, October 12, 2026, following a single vehicle traffic crash investigated by the Oregon State Police on Highway 101 in Seal Rock, Oregon. Deputy Collins was off duty and operating a personal vehicle at the time of the incident. In accordance with our office policies and procedures, Deputy Collins was placed on paid administrative leave while both the internal investigation and legal process are carried out.
 

We take matters involving law enforcement and public safety extremely seriously and our office is committed to ensuring the investigation involving this incident is objective and complete.
 

As with other active investigations and because this is an ongoing personnel and legal matter, we are not able to provide additional information at this time.
