News Release
Burglary Arrest Waldport Shell Gas Station - 02/18/18

During the early morning of February 18, 2018 Deputy Tadlock and Deputy Larson with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to the Waldport Shell Gas Station after the owner of the business found a damaged window and property stolen from the convenience store. Deputies viewed video surveillance and quickly identified Keith James Holder, 25 year old male from Waldport, as the suspect in this case.

Deputies were able to locate Keith Holder within an hour from the start of the investigation. After conducting an interview with Keith Holder, the deputies were able retrieve all of the stolen property and make an arrest.

Keith Holder was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on the following charges: Burglary I, Theft II, and Criminal Mischief I with a bail set at $215,000.00.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reminds both residents and business owners the benefits of having a video surveillance system. A surveillance system has a great impact on not only deterring criminal activity but often times the difference between a criminal arrest or having a case go unsolved.
