The Kelso School District has reached contract agreements with all five collective employee groups. Four of the groups—Kelso Education Association (KEA), Kelso Principal’s Association, Public School Employees II (PSE II), and Extra-Curricular—have ratified their agreements. The PSE I group will vote to ratify in the coming weeks. 

“The Kelso Education Association is happy to announce a 100% ratification of our new contract for the upcoming school year,” said Bob Gustin, KEA President. “We could not be happier with the district’s leadership—our school board members, our superintendent, and our budget and human resources directors—who continuously strive to work with us to provide competitive wages and supportive working conditions that attract and retain excellent staff and show that they genuinely value the work we do to make a difference in the lives of Kelso students.”

“We have an amazing group of people working to provide the kids in Kelso with the best and most supportive learning experience,” said Superintendent Mary Beth Tack. “We’re honored to work with them and excited to put all our collective focus on preparing every student for living, learning and achieving success as a citizen of our changing world.”
