Kelso - Homicide Investigation

On August 2, 2024 at 0154 hours, Kelso Police responded to the 1200 block of South 6th Ave in Kelso for a report that a man had been shot. Officers arrived and found a 58-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. That male was transported to an out of the area hospital where he died. The decedent’s identity is being withheld pending confirmation of notification to family. This is under active investigation by Kelso Police Detectives and no further details of the event will be disclosed at this time.
