Kelso Stabbing - January 27,2024 - 02/01/24
On January 27, 2024 at 2230 hours, a 43YOA adult male and his 15YOA son, both Longview residents, observed what appeared to be a domestic violence event unfolding in the Kelso McDonald’s parking lot. The 43YOA male confronted the alleged male suspect in the domestic violence event and attempted to de-escalate his aggression toward a female.
The alleged male suspect, identified as 19YOA Longview resident Kamrin Kerr, and several of his accomplices, including a 16YOA male juvenile armed with a knife, surrounded the 43YOA male and his 15YOA son and initiated a physical fight. During the physical altercation, the 43YOA male and his 15YOA son, were both stabbed causing life-threatening injuries. No status on either victim is being released.
On January 31, 2024, Kelso Police detectives took 19YOA Kamrin Kerr into custody. This afternoon at 1230 hours, Kelso Police detectives, with the assistance of Longview Police Department, apprehended the 16YOA male juvenile suspect in Longview. Both suspects are being held on 1st Degree Assault charges.
