News Release
Holiday Season Traffic Safety Patrols PSA - 11/22/21

With the holiday season upon us, the Keizer Police Department is reminding drivers to please plan ahead and use a non-drinking sober designated driver, taxi, or other form of ride sharing service to get home safely.

Starting this Thanksgiving weekend, and continuing through the holiday season, members of the Keizer Police Traffic Safety Unit will be conducting targeted patrols to increase safety on our roadways.  These patrols are funded by grants provided through the Oregon Department of Transportation.

In addition to grant funded patrols, On Saturday, November 27th, Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is partnering with the Keizer Police Department, the Oregon State Police and local law enforcement agencies from Marion and Polk Counties to hold a Thanksgiving holiday high visibility saturation patrol throughout the area.

The Keizer Police Department wishes you and yours a safe and joyous holiday season.
