News Release
Disorderly Conduct (Photo) - 01/28/20

On January 24, 2020, at around 9:35 PM, Keizer police officers responded to the Hops N Drops at 6295 Keizer Station Boulevard regarding a reported fight inside the restaurant. Investigation at the scene indicated that Trisha Ebbs was at the restaurant with her husband and several other people. A 20-year-old woman, that woman’s father and another person who was with them, were seated at a table. Trisha Ebbs recognized this woman and was reportedly aware that she was the victim of a sexual assault that was investigated by the Marion County Sheriff’s office in 2017. In that case, the male suspect, now 21 years old, was charged and subsequently convicted as an adult for sexual assault against this woman and a second, minor female.

At the time of this incident, Trisha Ebbs was with the parents of the person convicted of the sexual assault. A few minutes following the woman entering the restaurant, Trisha Ebbs walked to where the woman was seated and began screaming at her, calling her various expletives attributable to Trisha Ebbs’ belief about the circumstances of the 2017 crime. The woman’s father, attempting to intervene and defend his daughter, pushed Trisha Ebbs. A group of males associated with Trisha Ebbs quickly approached him and began shoving him as well.

Witnesses told officers that Trisha Ebbs was “on top of them” when describing her interaction with the victims. Restaurant employees intervened and were able to separate the individuals until police arrived. Trisha Ebbs was arrested for disorderly conduct and was processed at the Marion County jail. This investigation is ongoing. A portion of the video will be released to media upon request.
