Keizer Wins Big For Keizer Fire District (Photo) - 11/06/18

Early voting results show the Fire District which serves Keizer, Oregon at 72%-28% in favor of the local option Levy which provides for Ambulance Services to the City of Keizer.  Operations Levies are required by Oregon Law to be renewed by voters every 5-years to continue.  Keizer Fire District was up for renewal at the same tax rate for another 5 years but required voter approval to continue the emergency services. "Keizer Fire District would like to thank the people of Keizer for their continued support of our emergency services, here at home." Said Keizer Fire District Board President Chet Patterson.  Keizer Fire Chief Jeff Cowan added,  "We are sincerely grateful for the trust and faith you place on us. We take that responsibility very seriously. Everyone in our organization believes in and is committed to our mission. We have a true passion and belief in the noble cause of service to others, often in their most crucial time of need.  We will continue to earn that trust with pride and respect every day. Tonight we celebrate our bright future with all of Keizer Fire District. Thank you for your support".
