Hundreds of Kaiser Permanente Northwest employees participate in Martin Luther King Jr. Days of Service

When:
Monday, January 15
7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
12:15 p.m.: Kaiser Permanente Northwest President Ruth Brinkley will give remarks

Where:
Trillium Family Services Parry Center for Children, 3415 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97202

Visuals:
There is an opportunity to capture still photos and video of employees completing a variety of building improvement projects including painting, cleaning, and outdoor maintenance (weather permitting).

What:
The Parry Center for Children offers short-term, on-site psychiatric services for young people requiring 24-hour support for emotional and behavioral challenges. Volunteers will participate in a variety of building beautification projects.

Background:
For the 14th consecutive year, Kaiser Permanente physicians, dentists and staff are celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. day by rolling up their sleeves in remembrance of Dr. King's commitment to community service.

From Friday, January 12 through Thursday, January 18, more than 1100 Kaiser Permanente employees, friends, and family members will volunteer at a total of 49 service projects across the Northwest region.
