Kaiser Permanente will begin COVID-19 vaccinations for its front line health care workers on Friday morning at Westside Medical Center in Hillsboro, Ore.

Governor Kate Brown is scheduled to speak via Zoom with ICU nurse Eric Cathey, one of tomorrow's first vaccine recipients who has been working with Kaiser Permanente COVID patients since the beginning of the pandemic in February. Westside Medical Center had the first COVID patient in Oregon. 

Patrick Allen, Director of the Oregon Health Authority, will also be on site for this first round of Kaiser Permanente vaccinations Friday.

We are not inviting media to attend, for safety reasons. We took photos and b-roll:
