Recovered Stolen Vehicles/Warrant Arrests - 10/10/22

CASE NUMBER: 22002234/22002235

INCIDENT DATE:  October 7, 2022

REPORTING DEPUTY:  Corporal Aaron Porter

ARRESTED:  Tara Leigh Hodges, 61 years of age

CHARGES:  -Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle  

                   -Warrant from Jackson County for Possession of a Controlled Substance

ARRESTED:  Theresa Ellen Cranford, 60 years of age

CHARGE:  Warrant from Oregon State Police for DUII

DETAILS:  On October 7, 2022, at approximately 9:20 AM Sheriff’s Office Deputies located a stolen travel trailer in the 4000 block of Redwood Avenue.  Attempts to make contact with persons at the property were unsuccessful. 

At approximately 1:00 PM, a search warrant was obtained and executed for the property.  Four stolen vehicles, one stolen motorcycle and one stolen travel trailer were recovered from the property.  The two subjects listed above were arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail. 

This case is still under investigation and no further information will be released by the Sheriff's Office at this time.
