INCIDENT DATE AND TIME: April 7, 2022 at 7:00 AM

ARRESTED: Yongming Chen, 44 year-old male

                     Jiankang Chen, 66 year-old male 

                     Liuyue Xie, 65 year-old female

CHARGES: Unlawful Manufacture of Marijuana, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana                            

DETAILS:

On April 7, 2022, the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team (JMET) conducted a search warrant in the 300 block of Lindy Lane regarding an illegal indoor marijuana growing operation.

During the execution of the warrant approximately 750 marijuana plants being grown in the residence were seized and destroyed. 

Yongming Chen, 44, Jiankang Chen, 66, and Liuyue Xie, 65, were arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Manufacture of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of marijuana.   

At the time of this press release the investigation is ongoing and no further details are being released.
