DETAILS:

On January 6, 2022, the Josephine County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Oregon State Police, Grants Pass Police Department, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, United States Marshals Service, and Homeland Security, conducted a search warrant in the 9000 block of Takilma Road regarding online luring of a minor and an illegal marijuana operation.

Meyer intended to meet a minor child for the purposes of a sexual relationship and to deliver marijuana to different minor.  Based on information obtained during the investigation Meyer was taken into custody and a search warrant was executed at his residence. 

Christopher Meyer was arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail on the above listed charges.

At the time of this press release, the investigation is ongoing, and no further details are being released at this time.
