DETAILS:
On Jan. 3rd, at approximately 2:00 PM, Three Rivers Medical Center (TRMC) contacted the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office regarding a gunshot wound victim, who had arrived without notifying Law Enforcement (LE). The victim arrived at TRMC, with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. Medical personnel were able to remove the bullet, which was lodged in the rear of the victims shoulder.
Deputies and Detectives arrived to investigate and determined the shooting incident had occurred in the 5000 block of Westside Road, located in the Illinois Valley. Upon further investigation, it was determined the incident occurred inside of a vehicle prior to leaving a residence. Suspect information was obtained.
On Jan. 4th, Detectives conducted surveillance on a property located on Finch Road, in Kerby. The suspect, 32-year-old Daisy Greenlee, was observed walking in and out of the residence. At approximately 3:30 PM, Greenlee was contacted at the residence and taken into custody.
Greenlee is currently lodged in the Josephine County Jail.
