News Release

4/15/2023 Illinois Valley Fire District- Fatal Car Accident In Cave Junction - 04/15/23

4/15/2023 14:34:45; TA2 - Traffic Accident Lane Bl; 4xxx block of  CAVES HWY, Cave Junction.

Illinois Valley Fire District, AMR-Josephine County and Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle fatality accident.

Units arrived and found four occupants. Extrication of the  vehicle was performed.  Three patients were transported to a  Trauma center and local hospital.

One person, after life-saving attempts were performed was  pronounced deceased.  

There will be no pictures posted, and the scene investigation is being conducted by Oregon State Police.
