D2 Announces Wendy's Village Groundbreaking 
Harrison School District 2 is proud to announce this historic milestone as we break ground on Wendy's Village, a first-of-its-kind housing community created specifically for educators in District 2.  
Made possible through a partnership with the nonprofit organization We Fortify, along with the generosity of donors and the strength of community collaboration, Wendy's Village represents an innovative investment in the educators who serve our students every day.  
Named in honor of Superintendent Dr. Wendy Birhanzel, this transformative project is designed to make housing more accessible and affordable for educators, helping attract, support, and retain exceptional staff while strengthening our schools and community for years to come.
