COLORADO SPRINGS – Harrison School District 2 is grateful to our community partner, Pikes Peak United Way, who launched the 2022 Adopt-A-Family Program supporting over 200D2 families this holiday season! With 19 participating schools, you can pick from one or more of these amazing families who could use a little assistance this holiday season. Families have been identified through each school administrative team and have listed the needs and wants of each family member.
Harrison High School student, Jesus and his family were recipients of the first Adopt-A-Family Program. Jesus says donors gave him pretty much everything he wanted and needed. “I got all that and I was stunned because people really do care. Thank you. You really made someone's day, you made my mom's day, you made my day,” said Jesus.
As of Monday, November 28, 2022, D2 has 60 families available to adopt. Help us make a difference in a local family by providing them with holiday gifts by signing up today.
