COLORADO SPRINGS – The Sierra High School football season kicks off in two weeks with their first-ever home game. In the 35-year history of Sierra High School, the Stallion football team has never played a varsity game on campus. During this time, the football team has had to travel across the Harrison School District to play games at the Veterans Memorial Stadium located on the Harrison High School campus.

Over the course of the summer, an effort has been made to get the field/stadium at Sierra High School ready for the first game. More bleachers have been moved onto both the home and visitor sides of the stadium. A viewing platform for all coaches will be made available to get them the view they desire for filming and in-game analysis. Upgrades to on-site restrooms and maintenance to concession stands were also made.

The Sierra Stallions will host The Classical Academy on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.
