Hillsboro Police Arrest Suspect Related To Target And Fred Meyer Robberies. - 05/21/21
On 5-20-21 at about 10:49 am, the pharmacy located inside Target at 11095 NE Evergreen Pkwy. Hillsboro was robbed by an adult male who stated he had a gun, but no gun was seen or used. The suspect escaped before police arrival.
On the same day (5-20-21), at about 8:21 pm, the pharmacy located inside Fred Meyer at 6495 SE TV Hwy. was robbed by the suspect. The suspect escaped before police arrival.
Later the same evening, at about 10:01 pm, alert Hillsboro Police patrol officers conducting an area check located the suspect in the parking lot of Walgreens at 7010 NE Cornell Rd. Hillsboro.
The suspect was arrested and identified as Eric Louis Horwitz / 8-16-87. Eric was lodged at the Washington County Jail on two counts of Robbery-II and one count of Attempted Robbery-II.
