At 5:26 p.m., City of Hillsboro firefighters responded to an apartment fire at Bendemeer Court Apartments, 221 Southeast 12th Avenue. Firefighters found a deceased woman inside.
The fire appears suspicious. Hillsboro Police detectives, assisted by Hillsboro Fire investigators, are investigating the cause of the fire and the woman’s death.
No further details released at this time. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Hillsboro Police at 503-629-0111.
