Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Responds To An Industrial Accident Resulting In A Fatality -09/24/24

At 10:40 a.m. today, Hillsboro Fire & Rescue, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, and Hillsboro Police Department were dispatched to a reported industrial incident at southwest of the intersection of SE Cornelius Pass Rd and SE Kinnaman St in South Hillsboro. Upon arrival, crews assessed the situation and determined that one person suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. 

Due to the complexity of incident, Hillsboro Fire & Rescue's Technical Rescue Team was dispatched to assist with the recovery of the patient. The Washington County Medical Examiner and a representative from the Oregon office of the Oregon Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) also responded to the incident. Pending notification to the victim’s family, no additional information about the victim will be released at this time.
