Homicide Suspect Arrested

Gresham, Ore.— The suspect in a Gresham homicide has been arrested. On September 7th, Portland Police Bureau officers assigned to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Transit Police conducted a traffic stop in east Portland. They identified one of the occupants of the vehicle as 28-year-old Marcell Trotter.
Trotter was wanted for the murder of 25-year-old D’Angelo Adams. Adams was killed June 29th, 2026, at the Rockwood Village Apartments, 783 SE 185th Ave in Gresham. The East County Major Crimes Team is leading the investigation.
