Suspect Vehicle In Fatal Hit-and-Run Identified, Seized By Police

Police have identified the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash that killed Miguel Jimenez. Jimenez was working as a flagger in Gresham early Monday morning when he was struck by a vehicle travelling through the construction site. Using surveillance video, including footage captured by city-owned public safety cameras, investigators were able to identify the vehicle involved in the crash.
Early Wednesday afternoon, officers with the Vancouver Police Department located the vehicle at an apartment complex in Vancouver, Washington. Gresham police officers and criminalists responded to the scene in Vancouver. The vehicle has been seized as evidence.
The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
