Gresham, Ore.— Detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred in Gresham early Friday morning.
Police and medical personnel responded to a report of an injured person in the 18300 block of SE Stark St. just before 3:30 this morning. They found the victim suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they are in critical condition. The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, the Major Crimes Team was activated. Detectives are canvassing the area to collect video and interview witnesses. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call the GPD tip line at 503-618-2719 or toll-free at 1-888-989-3505.
