Gresham, Ore.— A four-hour search of a Southwest Gresham neighborhood resulted in the custody of three robbery suspects. Officers responded to a report of an assault and robbery in the 300 block of SW Eastman Pkwy., yesterday at approximately 8:15 p.m. Upon arrival, officers learned that three suspects assaulted and robbed a woman after she opened the garage door of her residence. Additional officers responded and surrounded the area, while the shift sergeant coordinated a search for the suspects. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Through the late hours of the night, a Gresham Police canine officer and a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office canine deputy searched the neighborhood for the suspects. Gresham UAS (drone) officers assisted with arial surveillance throughout the search. Two juvenile suspects were located hiding in the backyard of an area residence. A third juvenile suspect was located in the area a short time later. The search of the neighborhood was complete at approximately 1:00 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
