Gresham, Ore.—A traffic crash in Gresham resulted in Gresham’s Eleventh traffic fatality this year. Shortly before 6:00 p.m., Gresham police officers and medical personnel responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and passenger car, in the 2300 block of NE 181 Ave. After life-saving efforts were made, medical personnel determined the motorcycle rider had died. The driver of the passenger car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The East Metro Vehicular Crimes Team responded to the scene and is investigating the crash. Traffic on NE 181 Ave., between San Rafael and Interstate 84, is expected to re-open at approximately 10:00 p.m.
