Gresham, Ore.—On Aug. 26, at approximately 3:57 a.m., Gresham Police officers responded to reports of gunshots and a person down in the parking lot near the entrance of an apartment complex in the 200 block of SE 188 Ave. Officers arrived and located James Edward Wilson, 61, of Portland, who was later declared deceased. The East County Major Crimes Team (MCT) was activated to investigate the death as a homicide.
