Update: Shooting at Golden Knight Motel; Third Person Arrested (Photo) - 04/01/21

Gresham, Ore.- On March 18, Gresham Police responded to a report of a shooting at the Golden Knight Motel, 750 E. Powell Blvd. When police arrived, they discovered four victims of gunfire.  The East County Major Crimes Team is leading the investigation.

UPDATE: On March 31, Gresham Police Detectives made a third arrest in connection to this investigation. Caden Christman, 24, of Portland was arrested on charges of Attempted Murder, Burglary, Robbery, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Last week, Gresham Police arrested 19-year-old Kevin Aguirre and 30-year-old Alexander Lewis, both of Gresham, for the same charges.

The victims in this case are identified as 26-year-old Sarah Sabin and 28-year-old Kayla Black of Portland, and 30-year-old Cory Davis of Gresham. Sarah remains hospitalized because of this incident. Both Kayla and Cory were treated at the hospital and later released. Kevin was also injured from gunfire during the incident, however, he was identified as a suspect and arrested as a result of the investigation. There are no outstanding suspects in this case.

Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting are not being released at this time.
