Police Seek Information in Gas Station Shooting, Two Injured - 10/15/20

Gresham, Ore.- The East County Major Crimes Team is investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday night, resulting in two African American men being transported to the hospital with serious injuries.  Just after 10:30 p.m., someone who reported hearing multiple gunshots in the 18000 block of East Burnside St. called 911.  Arriving officers located the victims at the nearby Arco gas station.

The investigation has determined the men drove a dark colored four-door sedan into the gas station lot and stopped near a pump.  The shooting happened shortly after, while the victims were inside their car.  Investigators are looking at all possible motives, including whether or not this incident is gang related.

Detectives want to talk with anyone who saw or heard anything regarding this incident and are asking witnesses to call the Gresham Police tip line at 503.618.2719. No other information is available at this time.
