Police Seek Information in Homicide Investigation (Photo) - 10/13/20

Gresham, Ore.— Police are asking the public to provide information about an assault that occurred in downtown Gresham in late September, which ultimately resulted in the death of a 53-year-old Gresham resident.

Evidence suggests Tod Alan Barker was assaulted by a person(s) on the evening of Sept. 27, while walking in the 200 block of NE Roberts Ave.  It is believed Barker likely did not know his attacker(s).  Barker died on Oct. 9 from injuries sustained during the attack and the Multnomah County medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.

Investigators want to talk with anyone who saw or heard anything regarding this incident and are asking witnesses to call the Gresham Police tip line at 503.618.2719. No other information is available at this time.
